Eden Lifestyle Garden
Eden Lifestyle plants a tree for you!
Eden Lifestyle considers their impact on the environment and therefore acts responsible by supporting environmental initiatives.
We plant one tree for each booking made in an Eden Lifestyle hotel!
Environmental benefits of planting trees
Trees are like the lungs of the planet. Through the natural process of photosynthesis, trees absorb CO2 and other pollutant particulates, then store the carbon and emit pure oxygen.
Trees Provide natural habitat for Wildlife. They are the natural habitat of birds, squirrels and other animals. They also provide habitat for many endangered species.
Trees are energy savers. Planting trees around homes and buildings reduces the need for air conditioning. Energy conservation helps reduce global warming.
Trees help prevent soil erosion. Soil erosion is a serious problem. It reduces levels of nutrients needed for crops and other plants, and decreases the diversity and abundance of soil organisms Tree roots hold soil in place, and tree branches help lessen the impact of rain on the soil. Fallen leaves improve soil quality.
Where will the trees be planted and by whom?
You will find this Garden of Eden Lifestyle initiative in several destinations in the near future. Our pilot project has been launched on the island of Malta.
The MRAE (Ministry of rural affairs and environment Malta) will provide the space for the trees and will take care of them.
Each booking number will have its own tree and you will be able to find a plag with your name in the area where your tree is located.
Can I visit my tree?
You are warmly welcome to visit the Eden Lifestyle Garden to assure yourself of the well-being of your tree.
